Focus to Learn, Learn to Succeed.
This is a four pronged program that can be taken individually or in combination to address your specific needs.
It is rooted in Developmental Neurology, Neuroscience, Educational Kinesiology, NASA technology, Yoga and MindFullness

Getting into the Zone for Learning
MOVE TO LEARN, LEARN TO MOVE
Children who struggle with academics usually have not achieved their advanced motor skills. These skills usually include the ability to grade their movements ( evidenced by their ability to lightly touch a peer instead of “hitting” them; flopping to the floor instead of gently lowering themselves, stop and change directions as needed in “tag” etc); coordinate their movements ( as evidenced by their ability to play social games like “hop scotch”, skip with their peers, play over the net games like throw ball, badminton, tennis, soccer etc).
We also assess their ability to cross their midline. Children who have not yet developed this ability may tend to sit sideways when writing at a table and chair amongst other motor behaviors. The ability to cross the midline is critical for efficient brain functions.
Behavior Shaping
Train caregiver/parent in an outcome based simple effective Sensory Enrichment Program to prime the brain for development/growth and behavior management . It empowers parents in techniques that that can be seamlessly incorporated into their daily routine and yet have an impact on the quality of their day.
Sensory Enrichment Therapy is designed to provide the right kind of triggers to increase brain plasticity. This includes neurogenesis, neuronal migration, synaptic and nonsynaptic plasticity, and dendritic arborization. Your child will get new exercises every two weeks depending on how they respond to the activities. It is critical that the activities are done for 5 minutes twice a day to get results. Multiple senses are targeted in the activities to ensure the brain is getting the “right” dosage within a shorter period of time. Usually by 6 months very noticeable changes are observed on a consistent basis.
Almost every child that struggles in school has anxiety/stress. We address this.
Using a neurological approach-( with Breathing techniques, Visualizations and a prescriptive activity program).
Physical activity can be considered as the non invasive alternative to medications- both release the neurotransmitters to achieve the balance in brain chemistry for emotional control and learning.
