Using the charts in your website to identify early sensory motor delay ( frequency of visits will depend on the severity- once a month or every 3 months)
Identify mothers who need to increase their awareness about “tummy time” and it’s impact on brain development ( one time consult).
Provide informational sessions mothers of newborns on “impact of using baby containers ( car seat, rockers, swings etc ) at the cost of tummy time on brain development”.
Identify torticollis as early as 2 months.( Treatment-usually 5 visits)
Well child check ups
Identify early sensory motor delay
Identify behavior challenges that are NOT under the child’s control ( Sensory based).
Provide parents a resource for basic behavior management techniques.
Identify children who are at risk for inadequate physical activity.
Identify children struggling with homework and organization issues.
Identify children who are “clumsy” and find it difficult to keep up with peers during PE or during recess.
Provide parents with workshops on
“Impact of playground activities on brain development”.
“Stimulating different parts of the brain with targeted exercises”
“One minute stress relieving breaks “ for all children to improve behavior and academic skills.
“Importance of teaching children anxiety management skills along with self advocacy”.
Anxiety and stress management for ALL children- Gifted, typical and Special.
Individual and small group yoga classes available on request.
Parent training to navigate the special service system in NJ public schools.
