I met Bala Pillai DPT when she was working in the South Plainfield school system as a physical therapist. My 14 year old daughter (A.) had suffered a stroke and when she returned to school Dr Pillai was her physical therapist. From the moment we met, Dr Pillai impressed me with her passion, enthusiasm, skill and commitment to ensure that A. would benefit from everything available to her while she was under her care.

At that time A. was a teenager dealing with being different than her peers. She was facing challenges both physical and emotional. Dr Pillai worked with A. through the good days and the bad days. She became a tireless advocate, always encouraging A. to achieve her goals. A. always knew she could trust Dr Pillai completely and that she would do everything in her power to help her get stronger.
Dr Pillai and I had many conversations about my daughter’s progress, she freely shared her experience and knowledge with me. She would take the time to educate me on how best to advocate for my child. She was truly a blessing for our family during a difficult time.
To Dr Pillai, every child in her care is the most important. Her skill and professionalism shine through in how she deals with her patients on an individual basis. She will work tirelessly until a goal is achieved and goes above and beyond in order to help a child in need. The same passion and commitment Dr Pillai displayed in treating my child is there for every child.
Thank you!!!
